What features come with ChiliTech Digital Voice?

Every ChiliTech Digital Voice calling plan includes the following features at no additional cost: Enhanced Voicemail, Call Waiting, Caller ID with Name, Call Waiting + Caller ID, Call Forwarding, Call Transfer, Repeat Dialing (*66), Call Return (*69), 3-Way Calling, Inbound & Outbound Call Logs, and Missed Call Logs. Am I able to manage my features online?

Yes, you can! Just log into the Account Center at https://www.chilitech.net/AccountCenter. You can manage all of your features, listen to your voicemails, and view your call history details.

Can I make international calls using ChiliTech Digital Voice?

Yes. International calling is a standard feature with all ChiliTech Digital Voice calling plans, so you do not need to pay an extra monthly fee for international calling access. You will simply be charged our everyday low per-minute rate for the international areas that you call. Please visit the International Rates page to find out the current per-minute rate to any international destination.

What is a virtual number?

A virtual number is an additional phone number that rings to your main number. You can set up different numbers in different locations where you may have friends and family so they will be able to call you for free! Each virtual number costs $4.95 per month.

How can I add virtual numbers?

To check the availability of virtual numbers in specific areas, or to add a new virtual number, contact Customer Support at (866) 782-4454.

How does 3-Way Calling work?

With ChiliTech Digital Voice 3-Way Calling, you can connect with two other parties at the same time. The three of you can talk at the same time.
1) Simply dial your first party as you normally would.
2) Once connected, press the flash button on your phone and dial your second party.
3) After the second party is connected, press the flash button again and you’re all connected.

How do I retrieve my voicemail messages?

If you want to hear your voicemail message from your home, dial *98 on your phone and follow the prompts. If you are away from home and would like to listen to your voicemail, you can dial the voicemail access number at (570) 601-6700. You can also listen to your voicemail messages online at https://www.chilitech.net/AccountCenter.

Does ChiliTech Digital Voice support distinctive ring?

We do not currently support this feature. If you have distinctive ring on the number you are porting, you will lose this feature.

Will I be able to use 411 with ChiliTech Digital Voice?

Not at the moment, but we are working on this.

Will my phone number be listed in the telephone book?

No, at this time your number and name will not be listed in the telephone book.

Do home alarm systems work with ChiliTech Digital Voice?

If you have a monitored alarm system that requires a phone line, find out your alarm company's policy on VoIP service. Some companies allow the use of VoIP service for monitoring, and others require that you use cellular service or a traditional phone line with basic service.

Can I fax using ChiliTech Digital Voice?

Yes. You can fax on your regular line; however, successfully trasmitting a fax depends largely on the receiving fax machine and the quality of your broadband Internet connection. If you are having trouble sending or receiving faxes, try lowering the baud rate on the fax machine to 9600. Also, if your fax machine has the ECM feature, try disabling it.
